Anna & Daniel
«We don’t take photographs, we tell stories through images.»
— Daniel Rueda
Biography
Anna Devís & Daniel Rueda are a Spanish artistic duo, trained in architecture and recognized for their conceptual, playful, and meticulously constructed photography.
Their work transforms ordinary spaces, everyday objects, and urban geometries into essential yet vibrant visual compositions, built around color, perspective, and irony. Through minimal interventions, handmade sets, and a refined use of composition, the two artists invite us to look at daily life from a new perspective, turning the built environment into a space for imagination, surprise, and lightness.
Their research has gained increasing recognition within the international exhibition circuit, with solo shows and projects presented in cultural institutions and festivals dedicated to photography and contemporary image-making, including the National Taiwan Science Education Center in Taipei, Seoul Arts Center, Xposure Festival in the United Arab Emirates, Ojos Rojos Festival in Spain, Festiphoto Menthon St Bernard in France, as well as group exhibitions and presentations in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Tokyo, Miami, Tel Aviv, and Athens.
Listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 Art & Culture and named Hasselblad Global Ambassadors, they have collaborated with international brands including Google, Swatch, Adobe, Pantone, Amazon, Disney, Meta, Coca-Cola, Kenzo, Uniqlo, Renault, and Vitra.
Alongside their limited-edition fine art production — created as archival prints on Hahnemühle paper, numbered, signed, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity — they also develop commissions and special projects for campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling, while maintaining an immediate, optimistic, and highly recognizable visual language.
